Proof of concepts, playing around with data, coding stuff. Alot of R
Work done by Max Odsbjerg Pedersen
Making sense out of data with poorly OCR-quality
This example show how you can use the term frequency(tf)-inverse document frequency(idf) to filter out the most common OCR-mistake in a range of documents (in this case month in 1848)
Working with Twitter-data in R
Playing with rtweet-package and looking at the most used words in tweets using the hashtag "dkpol"
Playing around with the R-package StationaRy
Trying to examine the weather in august close to the farm where I grew up. Unfortunately in Danish.
Using photogrammetry to create your own 3D model og a real object
This concrete example is created from something like 40 pictures around a sculpture at the Antique Museum in Aarhus. Also testing of the online presentation software "3DHOP". Model takes a minute to load.
Working with the tidytext-package in R and with 10 years of proceedings in the council of Aarhus
I did this during my internship at KB labs. Unfortunately in Danish.
Using the R-package readtext to import several text files from various file formats.
The package is able to extract metadata from filesnames via separators .
Extracting data using the package rvest about Danish rental movies premiering from fafid.dk. Afterwards the movies are enriched with IMDB-data
The enrichment is based on searching for the movie titles on IMDB via constructing search-URL with the help of the package "urltools"
Video of trying Adams Illustrated Panorama of History on huge touch screen.
The screen is currently at KB labs for further development of interactive image browsing content
